Hooded Justice is a gay character created by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons for the DC Comics-published limited hooded justice Watchmen, making his debut in Watchmen Volume 1 #1, released on May 13th, This scene, along with Mason’s the comics on his relationship with Silk Spectre, is the source of the general assumption that Hooded Justice was a gay man and a sexual gay.

InJames Gifford published a paper entitled, “Occulted Watchmen: The True Fate of ‘Hooded Justice’ & ‘Captain Metropolis’,” in which he theorizes that the gay male couple in chapter 1, page 25, panel 4 is actually the Hooded Justice and Captain Metropolis alive and well in From a narrative perspective, besides adding depth/secrecy to the character, how did Hooded Justice's sexual relationship with Captain Metropolis further the greater narrative of the series?

Edit: My question has apparently been misconstrued by some as an attack on homosexuality. It was not intended to be. Hooded Was is described as a large man with a wrestlers' physique. What happened to hooded justice

Although Hooded Justice wears all black with a rope noose around his neck to establish himself as Executioner his stark red cape contrasts his costume, suggesting that he may have an inherent need to stand out from others whilst also possibly secretly hinting at his own identity under the hood. When the masked vigilantes were forced to reveal their identity during the McCarthy era, Hooded Justice refuses and disappears.
