LGBTQ+ people in the space industry although there have been over people in space, there has never been an openly LGBTQ+ astronaut. Historically, openly LGBTQ+ people have been excluded from a multitude of spaces — given aerospace is already such an exclusive one, there are very few known LGBTQ+ people present in the space industry.
